I'm in the Science Channel show Through the Wormhole later this week (first air date is Weds. 7/20/2011), talking about faster than light travel via wormhole.
I blogged about shooting the episode here. I haven't seen the show, other than the excerpt below. It's kind of cool to hear Morgan Freeman say my name :-)
Nice!

ReplyDeleteCongrats! You will soon take over from Michio Kaku as America's public scientist.
ReplyDelete:-(
ReplyDeleteNice. Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting my friend, I like the video - I have a similar one here - http://www.comicbookandmoviereviews.com/2011/07/lucky-number-slevin.html
ReplyDeleteYou're eloquent in this video. Seems good. I'm just left wondering whether physics is still exciting without dramatic background music.

ReplyDeleteIt is evidently easy to find oneself double-posting. =(
ReplyDeleteWhy is this under cognitive science?
ReplyDeleteOops, fixed!
ReplyDeleteHave you always had the way of speaking? Sounds commercial/businessy, but I've noticed it in three Harvard trained academics.
ReplyDeleteI doubt it's the Harvard influence. It may have more to do with talking to VCs and business meetings. At one point people used to refer to a "Harvard style" of seminars in theoretical physics, but by now I think it is called the "American style" by scientists from abroad.
ReplyDeleteCan you provide more information on how would you build the wormhole ?
