Thank goodness Steve Koonin is no longer their chief scientist. I'm thinking just in terms of collateral damage to Caltech's reputation.

  12. Why would their ad from 1999 have a logo that BP only started using in 2000?! http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/849475.stm
There is enough to be getting angry about without making things up!

Whether it was 1999 or 2000, this logo was filched from the English Green Party.
Why on Earth would an oil company want to filch its logo from a green party?

  16. How unfortunate. We could have avoided this, had we know that they meant it 'literally'! Now, can we ask them to take it back to Britain?

Let's see: they went from British Petroleum, to "Beyond Petroleum", and now, "Biggest Polluter"? Guess they weren't kidding when they said they were bringing oil to American shores. Question: Why did the MMS give a BLANKET EXEMPTION to various safety requirements ONE WEEK before the blowout?....

You got that right! A rare thing today in all sections of society...give them that.... along with a boot in the bottom.......
