More than this

I discovered today that one of my colleagues also loves this song. Bryan Ferry of Roxy Music had real artistic insight into chance and determinism. I like the 10,000 Maniacs version better, which is in the lower screen.

More Than This

I could feel at the time
There was no way of knowing
Fallen leaves in the night
Who can say where they're blowing

As free as the wind
And hopefully learning
Why the sea on the tide
Has no way of turning

More than this - there is nothing
More than this - tell me one thing
More than this - there is nothing

It was fun for a while
There was no way of knowing
Like dream in the night
Who can say where we're going

No care in the world
Maybe I'm learning
Why the sea on the tide
Has no way of turning

More than this - there is nothing
More than this - tell me one thing
More than this - there is nothing

Yes, great song. I like the first version better though.

Such a cool song in so many ways.

Did you have a chance to get the Bill Murray version from Lost in Translation ?

If you have not, that's my christmas gift, hehe.
